dignitas and Space Soldiers have decided against attending the ROG Masters Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Finals, the event's organisers have announced.
The announcement comes just 24 hours after ELEAGUE unveiled the first details for its upcoming Boston Major, with the European qualifiers due to take place next week.
Of the two teams, only Space Soldiers secured an invite to the closed qualifier for the European Minor, which means that Dignitas will have to compete in the open bracket if they hope to reach the Bucharest event. Both the open and the closed qualifier will clash with the ROG Masters EMEA Finals, which will run from October 12-15 at TakeTV's studios, in Krefeld.
Seed, formerly known as PENTA, and Singularity will replace the missing duo the event, which will see eight teams duke it out for two spots at the ROG Masters 2017, a $250,000 competition that will be held later this year.
